Extend Your Lifespan
Research has shown that cycling may well help you to live a longer, healthier life.
A study based around riders in the Tour de France revealed that their average lifespan was around 81.5, as opposed to 73.5 in the general populace. Overall, the subject group’s death rate stayed around 41% lower than average French men.
While not everyone will ride as vigorously or as long as they do, it’s testament to the sport’s potential benefits.
