Sometimes people are put off exercising, believing that they don’t have the time or the money to join the gym or take some other form of regular exercise, but in reality it’s just not true. There are many simple and effective ways to add exercise to the activities that you do every day.

Are you going to a store? Rather than find a parking spot nearest to the entrance, park on the other side of the lot and walk to the store. Better yet, if you live within walking distance from your destination, take the time to walk and enjoy some fresh air and exercise. If you enjoy going for a daily walk, why not jog instead? You will burn additional calories and feel more energized. If you plan to watch TV, do some sit-ups, planks or other exercise. If you happen to own a treadmill, set it up so that you can watch your television program while you walk or jog on the treadmill.. If you have a dog, take it for longer and faster walks – this gives both of you exercise and has the added bonus of making your dog very happy.
