OUTDOOR EXERCISES IN EXTREME HEAT
In order to safely exercise in conditions of extreme heat, it is important to use proper clothing and stay hydrated.
Exercising in extreme heat will cause your heart rate to increase and cause you to sweat. In order to maintain a sense of normalcy in your body, make sure to drink 3 to 6 oz. of water for every 10 to 15 minutes of weight loss activity and wear clothing that will allow as much sweat to evaporate as possible. Wearing 100% cotton clothing that is light in color will allow your sweat to evaporate and maintain your body temperature so that the risks of exercising in extreme heat will be reduced.
