America is becoming obese at an alarming rate. We are eating more food (and often food that does not provide real health benefits) and exercising less or getting no exercise at all. Our health is in steep decline and doctor and hospital visits are at all time highs. If you start to walk 10 000 stepsĀ a day you can begin to turn that around.

Diet and lack of exercise are contributing to many diseases that are plaguing American Society: heart and cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, stroke, out of control blood sugar levels, diabetes, obesity, and more. Many of us do not achieve the minimum recommendation of the U.S. Surgeon General of getting at least 20-30 minutes of moderate activity each day.
